Ballinger log book 2, p. 98 lists photo no. 2545 for the Kalt Lumber Co., but visually shows a view most like photo no. 2537 for the Stewart Building.
Photo no. 2537 shows a shed at the site with "Ballinger & Perrot, Architects & Engineers, New York & Philadelphia", suggesting the site in New York, due to the architect's practice of listing that city first for their New York projects. Ballinger & Perrot did several projects in Long Island, N.Y. Most photos have reprographer's name "Camera Craft, N.Y." and often a photo number "Cxxxx", also suggesting a New York site. Photos 2629-2638 are smaller snapshot photos. Photo no. 2633 shows signs "Ford Motor Co." and "Good Year ..." in background behind the building. Photo no. 2830 has a shed in the yard which reads "New York Roofing Co." and a clock tower in the background behind the stack.
Forms part of: Ballinger Company. Architectural photographs of the work of Ballinger & Perrot, and the successor Ballinger Company.
