- Ballinger log book 3, p. 29 lists three photos for the Safey Ticket Co." with no location given. Photo numbers 3654-3656 are given. Photos show a streetscape, including a seven-story building, which appears to have a plaque next to the entrance reading "Globe ... Company". This building also shows a Latin phase & date (1880) above a window, and a carved head above the entrance. Also on the street can be seen signs: [1] 118. B.J. Dougherty's New Employment Bureau [2] L. Cozzi, Tailor [3] Keystone Button Works ["Keystone" suggesting a Pennsylvania location] [4] 124. Star Showcase Mfg. Co. on the corner.
- Ballinger log book 3, p. 47 lists photo number 3704 for Walter E. Herring, and log book 3, p. 53 lists photo numbers 3743 and 4035-4036 for the Walter E. Hering Building, Philada. Photo nos. 3704(1922) & 3743(1923) show different versions of perspective architectural drawings of a proposed alteration & addition. By visual comparision of the photos & the presence of the Dougherty firm on the street, the "Safety Ticket Co." project is identified as the Walter E. Hering Building on 12th St., Philadelphia. In the later photos 4035-4036, the finished building is shown, almost double in size, but with the same Latin phrases at the old windows & the same figure above the entrance. The Dougherty agency has moved down the street to "122", and it's old building, along with two others, removed for the addition to the right side of the old Safety Ticket Co. building.
