This drawing has an incomplete HABS title block. Creator identification is not complete, and no HABS sheet or survey numbers have yet been recorded.
Victorian traveler's companion (1980), p.16 states that the house was built in 1886 for grocer William Haas. His daughter, Alice, married Samuel Lilienthal in 1909, living there until her death in 1972. Vail (1978) San Francisco Victorians ... p. 60, gives the architects for this Queen Anne style house as Schmidt and Shay.
