Place of Publication:
1940.
Notes:
Meigs property account book has two 1940 entries for work at the Peak, and another 1940 entry for work at the Conestoga Rd. brick house on Peak property. Descriptive information in these entries cannot be specifically matched to the drawings descriptions. However, it is likely that the entry cited "Misc. work at Peak. Jan to June, inc., Arthur I. Miegs, Radnor, Pa." is the matching entry.
While these drawings carry the regular Mellor & Meigs title block, Mellor died Jan. 11th of 1940. It is likely that Meigs continued to use the firm name, and associated with E.F. Hoffman, who now has his full name given on at least one sheet, rather than just his initials as a delineator for Mellor & Meigs, as in the past.
Forms part of: Meigs, Arthur I. The Arthur I. Meigs collection of architectural graphics & records, including works from the offices of Mellor & Meigs (1906-1916), Mellor, Meigs & Howe (1916-1928), and Mellor & Meigs (1928-1940).
