Meigs continued to use drawing paper printed with the Mellor & Meigs name and address after Mellor's death in 1940 and Meigs retirement to work alone at his Radnor home. The information "Made, traced & checked by A.I.M." (Arthur I. Meigs) added by Meigs at the time the drawing was made, is a more correct reflection of the creator's identification.
No sure identification with a project listed in the Meigs property account book can be made from the information on the drawings. However, these drawings may be for the "New wash room, pressing room" project.
Forms part of: Meigs, Arthur I. The Arthur I. Meigs architectural graphics & records collection from the offices of Mellor & Meigs (1906-1915), Mellor, Meigs & Howe (1916-1927), and Mellor & Meigs (1928-1940).
