- This record is parent to 2 RLIN VIM records which document in part the construction of the original 1913 Penn Mutual building at 6th & Walnut Sts. in Philadelphia by Edgar V. Seeler, and the subsequent alteration & addition project by Ernest J. Natthewson in 1930-1932. This building, located next door to the Athenaeum's own building, has had several subsequent building projects, including a major renovation after the 1988 fire.
