- Summary:
- Consists of [38] chromolithograph sample calling cards mounted to pages; prices are handwritten in pencil or ink above many of the items; most of the cards are brightly colored and have sentimental messages of friendship and love; some of the designs are for hidden name cards which could conceal a name within an envelope or under a decorated flap; most card designs are elaborate with fancy cut-out, lace or silk fringed borders; some designs have ribbons and are embossed; flowers (mainly roses), birds and outstretched female hands predominate the designs.

- Bound in heavy paper covers; pages are doubled over and stapled to binding.
