- Summary:
- "Folder" consists of 4 chromolithograph sample calling cards mounted on blue paper and a 5th example (card no. 84) of an illustration of an undecorated plain-edged calling card with sample name "Mary E. Ramsey" printed in outlined area; each style has a printed stock number and price associated with it; cards are brightly colored are embossed and/or have elaborate designs with cut out borders; flowers, birds and outstretched female hands predominate the designs; these pocket folders offered only a small selection of visiting cards to be used by those intending to establish themselves as agents, as indicated by the statement on verso: "With the enclosed samples you can at least secure a one dollar order and establish yourself as an agent, after which we will keep you supplied with samples of the latest styles of visiting cards ...."

- "We have the finest goods, latest styles at lowest prices and the best premiums. Our printing is neatly and carefully done. Satisfaction guaranteed. Every pack shall be like the samples. No half packs printed. Order all cards by number."
- Verso of "folder" is printed in b&w with "Notice to agents" and illustrations of products such as "Agent's sample book" and "birthday post cards" which were also sold by Ray Card Company.
