- In 1916 the Eagle White Lead Company (established 1843) merged with the Picher Lead Company to form the Eagle-Picher Lead Company; prior to the 1916 merger, the company also issued paint catalogs under name Eagle Paint and Varnish Works; works by the Eagle-Picher Lead Company are found under Eagle-Picher Company.
