Includes 28 leaves of plates following text; some copies also with engraved frontispiece. Cf. ESTC(RLIN).
Frontispiece is signed: "A. Thornthwaite inv., Isaac Taylor sculp."; other 28 plates, although unsigned, are also known to be executed by Isaac Taylor after Thornthwaite. Cf. RLIN CTYAFHX9362B.
Bookseller's advertisement: [2] p., final sequence.
First published in 1767; according to ESTC(RLIN), a variant issued in 1790 has no date on t.p. and has imprint reading: "Printed for I. Taylor."
