- A series of 7 "cahiers" [notebooks] issued in Paris by 3 designers/publishers, Hallavant, Osmont and Pinsonnière; notebooks contain hand-colored illustrations of draperies and curtains for windows, walls, doors and beds; set was issued from ca. 1810-1839; most dates are based on internal evidence of drapery styles (Cf. Gail Caskey Winkler); only "7me Cahier" records date of 1839; v. 1. issued ca. 1810-1815?; v. 2 = ca. 1815-1820?; v. 3 = ca. 1815-1820? v. 4me = ca. 1820-1825?; v. 5 = ca. 1825?; v. 6 = ca. 1830-1835; v. 7 = 1839.
- Title taken from v. 1; publisher's name (Osmont) taken from succeeding volumes appearing simply as "Osmont", perhaps indicating "Osmond" was a printing error; v. 6-7 record publishing firm as "Pinsonnière and note the firm as successor to Osmont.
- Imprint for v. 6 reads: A Paris : Chez Pinsonnière rue Viviene, 24, haute couer Martinet, rue du Coq, 13 et 15.; v. 7 has imprint at head of title: Pinsonnière sucrd. d'Osmont editeur.
- Some libraries report work as complete in only 6 vols., but set also includes "7eme cahier" issued by Pinsonnière (1839)
- Most plates unsigned; Cahier 7 has plates signed at bottom: E. Julienne and Derebergue.
