Collection of works: poetry by Abū Sālim al-ʻAyyāshī, a work on prosody by Ḍiyāʼ al-Dīn al-Khazrajī, a commentary on religious obligations by Aḥmad b. Aḥmad Zarrūq, and some incomplete works at the end, including a section of Galen and another poem.

Title for the manuscript from title of predominant work (f. 46v).
Foliation: Modern western foliation added in pencil, top left recto; catchwords every verso, lower left.
Layout: 15-19 lines per page; one column for prose, poetry in two columns; frame-ruled.
Script: Written in maghribi script in dark brown and red inks; pointed and partially vocalized.
Decoration: Rubrications and headers in larger script.
Binding: Brown leather with flap (Type II); blind stamped with central mandorla and frame on front and back covers; envelope flap and foredge flap blind stamped; leather and paper doublure on back inside cover and flap.
Origin: Likely copied in North Africa. One work is dated A.H. 1106 (1695) (f. 134r).
