Summary:

Set of texts about geomancy. The second is a commentary and abridgement of a longer work on geomancy (ʻilm al-raml) by ʻUmar ibn Aḥmad ibn ʻAlī al-Khitāʼī.

Foliation: Modern western foliation added in pencil, upper left recto; catchwords every verso, lower left.

Layout: 21-23 long lines; frame ruled.

Script: Written in naskh in black.

Decoration: Rubrications; many leaves of tables included (f. 15r, 17r, 18r, 18v, 21r, 23r, 29r, 30v, 43v-66r inclusive).

Binding: Bound in red leather over paperboard with flap (Type II); covers blind stamped with central mandorla with paper onlay and frame; flap also blind stamped with paper onlay. Binding is in poor condition: flap has separated and front cover is held on only by two hinges.
