Notes:
""This book is devoted to the Land of Judea. Most of the material on Judea appeared in the first of the four volumes of Wilson's monumental work, 'Picturesque Palestine'. For the sake of completeness we have added here (pp. 119-143) the section in Volume III which deals with Hebron and En Gedi. Thus all the material on Judea is now presented under a single cover. This edition is therefore a continuation of our earlier issue on Jerusalem. It repeats the pattern adopted there of covering a single region in each volume, a procedure that makes each volume, a independent and unified."--Dust jacket front lapel signed E.S. Jerusalem, 1976.
