The catalogue presents a series of pieces of intertwined textile fibers that artist Ella Krebs (Peru, 1926) began to produce since the 1970œs, creating sculptural tapestries and organic spatial installations with a pre-Columbian monumentality and establishing links between the ancestral symbolic inheritance and the current plastic expression, making her a pioneer of contemporary textile art. She was a student of renowned painters Ricardo Grau and Juan Manuel Ugarte Eléspuro.
