Guests of honour included Ed Sullivan, 'Guest Artists of Stage, Television, Screen, Opera, Radio [and] Sports', Secretary of the Cabinet Robert K. Gray, and Italian Ambassador Manlio Brosio. Includes a menu and a message of goodwill from Vatican Secretary of State Tardini.
Notes:
ACIM was founded in 1951 to assist refugees. It worked to reform the Refugee Relief Act of 1953 and aided migrants in settling inches The ACIM also played an important role in lobbying Congress for the Immigration Reform Bill of 1965.
