Includes a copy of the 'World Refugee Year' leaflet distributed by the United States Committee for Refugees, May 1959.

- ACIM was founded in 1951 to assist refugees. It worked to reform the Refugee Relief Act of 1953 and aided migrants in settling inches The ACIM also played an important role in lobbying Congress for the Immigration Reform Bill of 1965.
