Summary:
Description: Arnold explains the various summer camp jobs he worked before coming home to Minnesota as a teacher at the time of Pearl Harbour. Arnold enlisted and was assigned to the Air Force in the communications department working on radio sets. He explains what the work and barrack accommodation was like. The interview also talks about his father's bakery shop and Arnold's early childhood in the community.
Notes:
Begun in 1979 and completed in 1984, the Minnesota Finnish American Family History Project had as its purpose the documentation of the personal histories and experiences of Minnesota Finnish Americans. The Project was sponsored by the Minnesota Finnish American Historical Society and the Iron Range, St. Louis County, and Otter Tail Historical Societies.
