- Summary:
- This book discusses about the practical retinal OCT. This book describes the logical and simple analysis and interpretation method of OCT imaging and all the steps required to reach a diagnosis. OCT highlights retinal and choroidal alterations in morphology, structure and reflectivity and facilitates the study of the various retinal layers. Here Optovue OCT and Heidelberg Spectralis devices are used to get images of retina. These are very easy and reliable to use. The high resolution optical sections, section of choroid visible to the sclera, en face imaging, adapted the curvature of the fundus and other 2D and 3D images can be generated for detailed study of retina which helps to diagnose the various retina diseases. It is very important to interpret OCTs results for documentation, quantification and diagnosis of most common retinal pathologies.
