From May 7, 1870, this department was printed on a separate sheet, under title "Yale courant, a supplement to the College courant." This supplement, considered as a continuation of the original Yale courant, started on an independent career Sept. 14, 1870, as "old ser., v.7, no. 220, new ser., v.1, no.1." cf.
