- Notes:
- The romantic novel "Where the sun swings north" is a fictionalized account of the adventure that the author's family experienced in coming to Alaska. Barrett's second book "Rocking moon" takes place on a small island near Kodiak Island and concerns a fox farm. It was the first Alaska novel to be made into a movie filmed on location. The success of these novels motivated the publisher to republish them together under this title in 1925.
