- Oxford Studies in Ancient Philosophy is a volume of original articles on all aspects of ancient philosophy. The articles may be of substantial length, and include critical notices of major books. OSAP is now published twice yearly, in both hardback and paperback. Volume 50 contains one article on Parmenides, two articles on Plato, one on Aristotle on truth, one on Stoic ethics, one on Galen and Alexander of Aphrodisias on the nature of motion, one on the Stoic and Neoplatonist conceptions of rational assent, and a review article on Anna Marmodoro’s recent book on Aristotle’s theory of perception.
