Limited edition of fifty numbered copies, three subscriber copies, and fifteen lettered artist's copies, signed by the artist.
"Fifty numbered copies were made at the invitation of the Canadian Bookbinders & Book Artists Guild for the Millennium In A Box project"--Colophon.
Included in a project of the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild in celebration of the new millennium, compiled by Shelagh Smith and Susan Corrigan ; numbered copies issued inside the box entitled "Millennium in a box" which contains 35 items by various authors/artists.
"This book was designed by Ann Vicente while Artist in Residence at the Columbia Icefield, courtesy of Brewster Transportation, Banff, Alberta. The handmade papers contain acaba, kozo, denim and recycled papers. Text hand set and printed on a Washington handpress by Rollin Milroy"--Colophon.
Blue covers with white and grey pages inside. Bound with waxed Irish linen thread. Sheets are shaped to resemble glacier-covered mountains. Print of glacier couched onto front cover. All paper handmade by the artist. Center image is a pulp painting.
