Summary:
"Imperfect Loveʺ is the first catalogue of young artist Gimena Macri (Buenos Aires, 1986) who brings together a selection of paintings from her recent series produced in the last two years. Intended as a notebook, the book brings together several paintings, many of them reveal a game that combines images and text. This body of work is inspired by emotional codes that are created in a combined relationship of elements from her daily life and her environment. The works are presented as floating on the notebook without a strict format, free of brackets, which lets the reader appreciate her very personal color palette which reflects her work. Gimena Macri is the daughter of President Mauricio Macri.
