Summary:
The first book of a series on the Colombian art collections under the editorship of Paralelo 10. The text by Ximena Gama highlights certain practices and themes on contemporary Colombian art in relation to works by Latin American artists included in the collection. Diego Garzón, in his interview, revealed the figure of Castaño as a collector and the effects on the art scene generated around him. "This collection reflects the interests of Castaño in architecture, drawing and text, creating links that let us barely see the concerns of his time in relation to the city, its reality and some urban utopias that are born from it." (HKB Translation) -Page 10.
