In 2017, France was the guest of honor of the photographic biennial of "Bogotá Fotográfica". The exhibitions took place in multiple venues that included the Museo del Banco de la República and the Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá (MAMBO) within the "Pabellón francés", comprising three exhibitions with works by Colombian and international photographers inspired around the topic of "Territory: Francia, territorio líquido", "Agora" and "Exposición de la Escuela Superior Nacional de Fotografía de Arles". A third event was held at the Museo de Bogotá presenting the exhibition "Al descubrimiento del otro" with a selection of photographs from the Collection Bourgarel, from the holdings of French Ministry of Foreign Relations.
