- On behalf of Carlos IV, retired Captain of the Regiment of Dragons in Mexico, Guillermo Dupaix, (Vielsalm, Luxembourg, 1746 - Mexico, 1818)) organized three archaeological expeditions in the colonial territory with the name of the Real Expedición Anticuaria (Royal antiquarian expedition), The book "has the merit of recreating the political and ideological environment which gave rise to the "Real Expedición Anticuaria" from 1805 to 1809, directed by Captain Dupaix.
