Summary:
The book comprises part of the religious heritage in the Plaza de Bolívar and other urban transformations of the city of Bogotá as a result of the papal visits of three pontiffs who attended the International Eucharistic Congress and met with the Catholic faithful. Because Pope Francis is part of the Jesuit community, the exhibition also included a brief sample of the legacy of the so-called Jesuit Block (Church and School of Saint Ignatius) located in the same plaza. The publication revises the urban and social impact that the three papal visits of the last Roman pontiffs -Paul VI, John Paul II and Francis- had in the city of Bogotá; which is evident in a series of photographs accompanied with identified commemorative objects.
