Summary:
Cross-cultural influences between Portugal, Africa and Brazil, born of the former Portuguese Empire and deepened decisively by slavery, are presented from a contemporary perspective. The exhibition includes works from some of the leading Portuguese artists through 270 works - paintings, sculptures, photographs and installations - that make up the widest panorama of Portuguese art exhibited in Brazil in recent years. I. The exhibition is part of a trilogy developed by Museu Afro Brasil in recent years.
