- The State Health Expenditure Dataset was designed to better understand the impact of cost-effectiveness of public spending on public health. The collection includes approximately 1.9 million individual records, which were characterized into over 60,000 individual program categories. This data was provided by the US Census, and was collected from state budget offices across the country from 2000-2013.
