"This printed document issued in 1807 lists different morning, evening and Sunday newspapers sold by John Ray, City of London 'newsman' of 'no. 5 St . Andrew's Hill, Doctors' Commons.' He advises that he 'serves' them 'as soon as published, and likewise sends them (free of postage) to any part of the kingdom.'"--Vendor's description.
Local Notes:
Kislak Center copy has manuscript annotations in form at bottom of page and address panel on verso, indicating that the document was sent to "Mr. R. Thorp" in Alnwick, to request pre-payment for his order to supply copies of the Legal Register. Dated July 10, 1807, with postal markings.
