"Above fifteen thousand of the said books in Latin have been sold in a very few yeers, having been eight times printed, though all the former impressions wanted the nature, causes, signs, and differences of the diseases, and had only the medicines for the cure of them; as plainly appears by the authors epistle. The names of the seventeen books of the Practice of physick, and the principal matters treated in each of them, are printed in one sheet of paper, and put before these books."

Title within border of double rules; running titles and page numbers within parallel horizontal rules.
Physical dictionary has special dated title leaf (with woodcut vignette), which reads: A physical dictionary, expounding such words, as being terms of art, or otherwise derived from the Greek and Latin, are dark to the English reader. This dictionary is of use in the reading of all other books of this nature, in the English tongue. London: Printed by Peter Cole in Leaden-Hall, and are to be sold at his shop, at the sign of the Printing-press in Cornhil. 1655.
