Summary:
This book is a monograph devoted to the history of the Jews of Donetsk. The basis of the book was the documents of the State Archives of the Donetsk region, as well as various materials, articles, studies on this topic. The author carried out their communication and analysis of the topic. In the book, the history of the Jewish community of the city is divided into periods, respectively, state ownership, to which the city was a part; period of time of the USSR, and a modern cloudy period of independent Ukraine. Each period corresponds to a separate chapter with an analytical overview of this period in the history of the Jewish community of the city, as well as the application of archival documents and other materials. A large number of attached documents will help the reader to form his/her own independent opinion. A well-timed chronological order will allow us to get a clear idea of the upsurge of the Jewish community of Donetsk from the beginning of the foundation of the city to our days.The book is recommended to religious scholars, philosophers, historians, culturologists, as well as to all who are interested in the history of Judaism, the Jewish people of the Donetsk region.
