- Summary:
- Paul Horcier is a low-level employee of a large French company. When he is sent to deliver a large sum of money to the company's regional headquarters in Saigon in 1950, he discovers the money has been stolen and he is being set up as a fall guy. He retreats to a small village in the Vietnamese countryside in order to plan a way out of his quandary, and finds himself between a rock and a hard place, i.e., the insurgency and the French colonial forces.
