Summary:
Binder's waste fragments of two parchment leaves from an unidentified thirteenth- or fourteenth-century theological work, possibly a Biblical commentary or volume of sermons. The source manuscript was ruled in lead and written in 36 lines of textualis script, with paragraph marks alternating between red and blue. One fragment (Leaf 2) has a three-line initial in red flourished with blue. The fragments were used in the binding of an unknown volume. Leaf [1]: 205 x 35 mm (folded to 205 x 25 mm); Leaf [2]: 200 x 35 mm (folded to 200 x 25 mm).
