Summary:
Grand retrospective with more than 130 works of art by German-Mexican artist Mathias Goeritz (b. Germany 1915 - d. Mexico 1990), elaborated in the diverse techniques he explored during his life. Drawings, paintings, grouches, sculptures, collages, assemblages and reliefs comprise the commemorative event celebrating the centennial of his birth. The works are part of the holdings of the IIC since 1994, highlighting the exhibition of the goblin property of architect Luis Barragan and exhibited for the last time in 1958.
