- Summary:
- [The film] tells the story of Hassan, a Syrian father who fled to the Netherlands in order to save his family. Via WhatsApp audio messages, he is in touch with his wife, Fadia, and his children, including his seriously ill daughter, Yomna (15). The long wait during the asylum procedure makes Hassan so desperate that he begins to doubt the correctness of his decision. Meanwhile, the situation in Syria grows more desperate for his family.
