Summary:
"This publication gathers five different projects and brings them into dialogue with each other. The first three, "Altar of Light", "Mexico City. Phonomicroscopy" and "Ales Canticum", all interventions in the MUAC's Sound Experimentation Space, explore the different ways in which a space can be inhabited through sound. Sound in turn, is expressed as poetry, music, or murmurings, and each intervention seeks to create a dialogue between the who, the where and how of listening. The final two projects, "Order and Progress" and "Duran 660" propose new perspectives on the past, simultaneously offering an alternative to the places from which we understand the present."--Verso Cover.
