Summary:
Constructed in a laic country with an economy that was already very commercialized and in the age of the largest dissemination of the formal values of the International Style: the Parish of Cristo Obrero in Atlántida by architect Eladio Dieste, the small chapel of Santa Susana in Soca, by Catalan architect Antonio Bonet and the Seminario Arquidiocesano of Toledo, by architect Mario Payssé, are three heterodox works that seem to be decentered in terms of time and place. Against this assumption, the author presents them as emerging in a cultural context, products of the constructive action of the Catholic community as technicians, unveiling the complex processes of the projects.
