Summary:
Resistance to continuing education is a possible action against continuing education and learning that is barely empirical explored and undertheorized yet. Starting with previous studies about resistance to education and about resistance in other disciplines this research outlines a critical theory on refusal based on a negativ-dialectical approach. Resistance to continuing education is shown as a multifarious, context-related an potentially critical act.
