Summary:

Francois-Xavier Roth and his period instrument orchestra Les Siecles have recreated the orchestra that accompanied the Ballet Russes at the 1910 premier of Stravinsky's ballet The Firebird. They have also reconstructed the ballet Les Orientales, which was first performed as a prelude to The Firebird at its premiere and features music by Glazunov, Sinding, Arensky and Grieg.
