- Summary:
- Sohail Hashmi, Digant Oza, and vedita Menon present a lecture intersperced with visual clips of related events in India history. Hashmi talks about the facts about Indian identity. He has a long section on the food that Indians identify as their own but is often very recently incorporated into the national cuisine. Oza looks at how the violence against the Muslims in Gujarat has effected the entire community, hurting not only the Muslims but the entire population. Bidwai looks at the continuing conflict between India and Pakistan, and how this conflict has effected the economy of both countries. He explains how the present direction India is moving is much like how the Middle East got where they are.
