- Summary:
- Volume with marbled paper covers comprising poems copied and compiled from the literary newspaper O Trovador published in Lisbon, Portugal. The nineteenth-century Portuguese poems were compiled by Santos in 1857. Some of the poems have dates at bottom ranging from 1843 to 1847. The poems are written on 151 numbered pages. Blue ink was used to underline titles and mark separations of verses and stanzas. The margins are ruled in red ink. At the end of the volume is one page of notes. A table of contents is on the last leaf of the volume. There is pencil scribbling at the beginning and end of the volume. The spine is lacking.
