Persian copy in prose of the Bhagavadgītā; this volume contains only books 12-18; seven half-page polychrome painted illustrations before each new chaper (f. 1v, 41v, 45v, 144v, 162v, 173v, 177v).

Foliation: Inconsistent marking of each book number in Hindu-Arabic numerals in upper left recto. Modern foliation in pencil added, upper left recto; catchwords, lower left verso. Leaves are adhered together in groups in several places, foliation is continuous, but not every folio may be viewed in its entirety. References in the record are to the modern foliation.
Layout: 21 long lines, border-ruled.
Script: Written in nastaʻliq in black ink; pointed.
Decoration: Rubrications in red, including chapter summaries and overlining; textblock border-ruled in blue, orange, black, gold; page-opening rule in blue; 7 half-page polychrome painted illustrations begin each chapter (f. 1v, 41v, 45v, 144v, 162v, 173v, 177v).
Binding: Bound in blue and white paper over pasteboard with brown leather spine and cornerpieces.
Origin: Likely copied in South Asia in the mid- to late-18th century.
