"As in the first edition, this second, revised and enlarged, edition of the Manual of Mental and Physical Tests presents a manual for various tests of mental and physical abilities, with a focus on the experimental study of school children in the laboratory or classroom. The author states that, in this volume, as in Part I, the text has undergone extensive revision and alteration, in a number of instances the addition of new materials, of new methods and of new results has been sufficient to alter the complexion of the tests so decidedly as to amount to entirely new presentations of the topics with which they deal. Some tests are presented as totally new material. On the other hand, a few tests have been omitted. The following types of tests are detailed: Tests of Description and Report; Tests of Association, Learning, and Memory; Tests of Suggestibility; Tests of Imagination and Invention; and Tests of Intellectual Equipment. For each measure background information and methodological advice is given. The text also includes a note on Serial Graded Tests for Developmental Diagnosis.
