- The present volume reports the proceedings of a conference on Planning Research on the Psychological Aspects of Aging, held under the auspices of Division 20, Division on Maturity and Old Age, of the American Psychological Association, April 24 to April 27, 1955 at Stonehouse on the grounds of the National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. Chapters are based on conference sessions, and the final chapter is a summary of the suggestions developed during the conference written by the conference chairman. Two appendices contain information on distribution of research projects related to aging and a measurement instrument for social role performance in adulthood.
