- Annotation The topics covered in the October 1993 Workshop are, as in the previous workshops, high-power and high-intensity laser generation and laser light interaction with matter; new fields opening up in laser- produced high-density plasma research; unique new applications for such plasmas; and inertial confinement fusion (ICF), including the use of intense heavy or light ion beams for ICF.
