- The Bureau for Workers Activities (ACTRAV) has just published a new issue of the International Journal of Labour Research, entitled Crisis: Causes, Prospects and Alternatives. According to the journals editor Pierre Laliberté, this issue deals with one of the major challenges facing todays world of work how to define worker-friendly and environment-friendly prospects for the future and then fight to achieve them.. The issue contains a series of articles, most of which are drawn from the Global Labour University conference on Labour and the global crisis: sharing the burden (!) shaping the future (?), which was held in Berlin in September 2010.
