Summary:
John B. Armstrong's arrest of notorious killer John Wesley Hardin assured Armstrong a place in history, but this Texas Ranger's story goes far beyond his most famous act, and until now, that story has never been told. In addition to his service in the Rangers' famed Frontier Battalion, he founded the Armstrong Ranch, an operation that remains active and important to this day. As Elmer Kelton notes, "Chuck Parsons' biography is a long-delayed and much-justified tribute to Armstrong's service to Texas.".
