Malcolm Shepherd Knowles was a key writer and theorist in the field of adult education in the United States. He died in 1997 and left a large legacy of books and journal articles behind. This book examines Knowles' principal works, graphically depicts his framework in a series of diagrammatic representations, identifies the major elements of thought and plots the emergence of new ideas in the sequence in which they occurred.
